Fran’s Freebies: Spanish Articles games

This Fran’s Freebies printable packet on Spanish Articles (el, la, los, las, un, una, unas, unos) includes:

• 8 article cards
• 18 noun cards
• 4 double-sided stand-up “tent” style cards

This set can be used for a variety of activities to help master the 8 Spanish articles, as well as to practice the number and gender of new noun vocabulary.

• Set up the 4 tent cards and have players arrange noun cards (those provided or ones you make yourself to match the current vocabulary set) around the article cards
• Match noun cards to article cards, recording article-noun combinations made
• Have players hold up the correct article card as you call out nouns from your current vocabulary set
• Give each student a different article card and have them make a list of nouns that would go with it, changing to plurals as necessary
• Use the cards as a bulletin board display
