If you ever find yourself needing a nice map printout, I highly recommend visiting National Geographic’s Xpeditions MapMaker Page Maps!
On this site, you can choose a map of the world, a world region, one country – or even select parts of certain countries. Simply make your selection in the “Region” and “Country” drop-down lists to the left.
Not what you’re looking for? Simply select or deselect individual details in the “Map Elements” drop-down checklists. You can show or hide a world locator map, grid lines, country boundaries, and names of countries, rivers, and oceans.
Click on the “Drawing Tools” or “Markers” vertical tabs, and you can add colored lines, arrows, and other details. You can even add your own labels to the maps before you print them!
If you are looking for colored maps with the ability to zooom in and out, measure distances, or customize and print, visit the MapMaker Interactive instead.
Have you used this excellent online resource from National Geographic Education?
